We'd love to have you join us for either our morning worship service at 10:30am or our evening worship service at 6:00pm. Here's what you will find at Woodlawn Baptist Church.
- A diverse fellowship. You will see people from all ages, cultures, and backgrounds. But the gospel of Jesus Christ makes us one family.
- Friendly people. We are a church that loves to welcome people. Our greeters are available to assist you in helping you locate classes, the nursery and other needs. We'd love to meet you, so feel free to introduce yourself.
- A relaxed atmosphere. Though we take worship seriously, you will see people wearing everything from business suits to camouflage. Dress in a way that is most comfortable for you. We regularly have visitors every week, so you'll fit right in.
- Christ-centered Worship. Our singing, our prayers and the preaching from God's Word is focused on passionate worship of God revealed in Jesus Christ. Our music is a blend of both contemporary and traditional songs that are doctrinally rich in content. Preaching at Woodlawn is expositional, meaning that it seeks to present the point of a particular Biblical passage. Sermon series usually alternate between the Old and New Testaments.
Sunday School begins at 9:30am, we have classes available for all ages.
Wednesday Night Prayer and Bible Study at 7:00pm provide an opportunity to delve into God's Word in a more intimate setting in our fellowship hall. We take special time to pray together before we begin. There are studies on a variety of topics that takeplace throughout the year.
