Membership Requirements

• A person must testify to having trusted Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord.

• A person must be baptized by immersion in water.

• A person must attend Woodlawn Baptist Church member Class 101.

• A person must sign and retain a copy of the Membership Covenant.

• A person must know church responsibilities and expectations.

How to Become a Member

• By Profession of Faith and Baptism - If you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord, and follow Him in baptism by immersion, we welcome you into our fellowship.

• By Letter - As a Baptist whose membership is elsewhere, we will be pleased to welcome you into our church family should God direct you here.  We will happily take care of all appropriate details by transferring your membership.

• By Baptism - If you have been saved, but never experienced believer's baptism by immersion, we invite you to join by baptism.  This gives testimony of your salvation and your obedience to His direction.

• By Statement - If you have been saved and baptized by immersion and there are not church membership recoreds available, then we will accept you upon statement of these conditions.
